Windows: Species & Finish Colors: Wirebrushed Incense Cedar
Incense Cedar grows in California, southwestern Oregon, and extreme western Nevada. Inherent with Incense Cedar is the broad range of pastel colors. This color variation allows for unique finishes difficult to achieve in other species. Our Wirebrushed texture gives this wood a rough, rustic, knotty surface, which requires less maintenance than a sanded surface. Incense Cedar has a natural stability that minimizes any tendency to split, bow, warp or cup. Because of its exceptional ability to resist environmental deterioration, it has been used by generations of Westerners for such varied uses as fencing, patio decks, and siding.
